Most of the time the humor of western poetry is obvious in its
content. Occasionally the poet takes you for a ride down a grim
and foreboding path where the irony of the tale reveals the
cowboy's humor. "Condemnation Night" is that very kind of ride.

I have always been fascinated by punchy sarcasms and catchy 
rhymes. As a cowboy poet I try to capture the "blue collar" life of
the everyday pokes that suffered the indignities of the wild west
